"Phishing"

An identity theft technique in which a fake email is made to look like it's from a legitimate company to get you to reveal personal or account information. The email may ask you to update or verify information by clicking a link. DON'T! Any information collected could be used by thieves to access your accounts or open up new accounts in your name. Always contact Oregon Community if you receive a suspicious email or are a victim of this type of crime. Note: Oregon Community Credit Union doesn't send emails or text messages, or make unsolicited phone calls asking for your account number, debit or credit card number, or PIN.
